INSTRUCTIONS FOR REPAIRING CLEAN STATION 1 (CS1)

General instructions

  • Only original spare parts should be used.
  • Before dismantling the unit, make sure it is switched off (the main switches must be in »off« position.
  • The plug must be disconnected from the mains.
  • Instructions on how to use the appliance are given in the enclosed manual

Disassembly of the head of the vacuum cleaner

  • Loosen the catches of the unit (position 18 on exploded view).
  • Remove the head of the unit and place it vertically.
  • Unscrew two screws (pos. 3) on the lever by using the torx screwdriver.
  • Remove the both parts of the handle (pos. 23 and 24).
  • Remove the lid (pos. 25).

Disassembly of the switch

  • Disconnect the cables of the motor unit and the pump, both power units (pos. 1 and 2) and the mains lead.
  • Remove the damper (pos. 5) from the middle part (pos. 32).
  • Press the switch until it is stuck.
  • Pull out the switch.

Disassembly of the flex

  • After dismantling the switch, unscrew and remove the flex from the middle part (pos. 32). Instructions for installing the flex can be found under “Installing the flex”
  • The flex must have the code H05VV-F 2X0.75

Disassembly of the pump

  • Remove the PU tube (transparent) from the connection (pos. 6)
  • Unscrew the screws (pos. 27) on the pump compartment by using the cross-cut screwdriver
  • Remove the PVC tube (black) from the pump
  • Remove the pump from the middle part (pos. 32)

Disassembly of the thermostat switch

  • Slowly remove the thermostat switch (pos. 26) from its compartment in the pump
  • When installing it back, make sure that the flat part of thermostat switch is attached to its place in the pump compartment
  • Push the thermostat switch to the casing wall. Make sure not to damage the insulation on the cables
  • Connect the thermostat switch according to electric diagram (figure 3)

Disassembly of pipes and the motor unit

  • Unscrew four screws (pos. 7) by using the torx screwdriver
  • Remove the middle part (pos. 32) together with the pipes
  • Remove the damper (pos. 13) from its compartment
  • Remove the motor unit (pos. 34) from the lower part
  • Remove both rubbers (pos. 35) from the motor unit
  • Unscrew the clamp (pos. 11) from the middle part by using the cross-cut screwdriver
  • Draw out the PU pipe (transparent) and the PVC pipe (black) from the middle part.The pipe support (pos. 107) should remain firmly on its place (2 pieces in the middle part)
  • Remove the PVC pipe from the pipe attachment (pos. 33)

Installing the flex

The flex should be installed carefully. The flex installed into the middle part (pos. 32) can be seen on figures 1 and 2. After installing the flex, push it down until the end of the attachments to prevent it from loosening or disconnecting from the casing. Pull the flex hard to test whether it is attached firmly


Installing the head of the vacuum cleaner

The installation process follows the opposite order of the process of disassembly. When reinstalling the head, make sure that all electric components are appropriately connected and that all other parts of the unit are firmly attached. See the electric diagram (figure 3) for connection of the motor unit and the mains lead. Make sure that the switches of the motor unit and the pump are on the right places (print on the lid). Put the head on the container and fasten the catches (pos.18). The main switch must be in “off” position. Connect the plug to the mains and try whether the appliance works properly. Act according to the instruction manual.

Replacing the dust bag

Remove the full dust bag from the attachment (pos. 20). Put a new dust bag on the attachment and pull it to the end wall


Replacing the filters

From time to time replace or clean the outgoing filter (pos. 8). To replace the filter, open the grid (pos. 9), remove the outgoing filter and replace it with a new one. From time to time replace or clean the damper as well (pos. 13)

After installing the flex, push it down until the end of the attachments to prevent it from loosening or disconnecting from the casing. Pull the flex hard to test whether it is attached firmly.

  • Remove both rubbers (pos. 9) from the motor unit.

Installing the flex

The flex should be installed carefully. The flex installed into the middle part (pos. 21) can be seen on figures 1 and 2. After installing the flex, push it down until the end of the attachments to prevent it from loosening or disconnecting from the casing. Pull the flex hard to test whether it is attached firmly.
